This family is so much fun!! 🙂 We had planned to take their family pictures outside at beautiful Mountain Lake but the freezing cold weather (wind, rain and even some snow!) that started right before their session made us change our plans. So instead, we got to take their pictures INSIDE the gorgeous Mountain Lake Lodge! Yes, the hotel where “Dirty Dancing” was filmed, which is one of my top favorite movies of all-time, of course. However, it’s been YEARS (decades?) since I’ve been inside the lodge (instead of outside on the grounds) and it was so much fun to walk around and see everything! That’s not the point of this blog post but just had to gush about one of the coolest/prettiest places I know. Anyway- it was so exciting to take this family’s pictures here! I’m good friends with Myra, one of their family members, and she did a great job arranging the session and then also helping out during pictures (shaking keys, scouting locations, etc.). Thanks, Myra! I had so much fun with this family! I’ve known this group for a long time but I haven’t seen some of them in years, so it was great to have everyone together and be able to catch up! Everyone was so helpful and the kids all did so well! And even though one baby wasn’t feeling well, she still takes adorable pictures!! I’m so glad that the weather didn’t cancel our session and that we were able to get their pictures in…because it was Theresa’s birthday and what a fun birthday present to be able to spend the evening with everyone!
