Hey, friends!
My name is Jaime Johnson Bunker and I am the owner of JJ Photography. I'm based in beautiful Giles County, Virginia but I also serve the surrounding areas (GO, HOKIES!). I'm married, have 4 kids, one dog and 2 cats, and I'm a Physical Therapist turned stay-at-home mom, which I love!
I have always liked taking pictures but I really became interested in photography when I started having kids. I wanted to be able to take decent pictures of them so I began studying and learning everything I could about photography. I became obsessed with taking pictures- it was my favorite new hobby! I decided that I wanted to capture memories for other people and their families, as well. So in May of 2015, JJ Photography was open for business!

- The San Antonio Spurs-I cried when Tim Duncan retired. Yes, he's the 'Duncan' in
my email address.
- Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech Hokies
- The beach
- "Napoleon Dynamite"- "Can you bring me my chapstick?"
- Flowers, especially roses, peonies, tulips, and lilies!
- Charleston, SC- I went to physical therapy school at MUSC and <3 Charleston!
- "Grey's Anatomy" and McDreamy
- Animals. A goal of mine in life is to become an Animal Rehab Specialist!
- "Harry Potter" and the "Twilight" series (Team Edward!)
- Basketball and swimming
- "Loaded Questions" board game. You'll laugh so hard, you'll cry (just like me).
- Kenny Chesney, Backstreet Boys, Josh Groban- an interesting combo, I know!

Babies
Congratulations on your new baby! What an exciting (and exhausting!) time in your life! It's cliche but the first year really does go by so quickly. Make sure to capture all of the small details because babies seriously do change looks overnight! Whether you want an in-home newborn, lifestyle session, pictures to celebrate your 6-month-old's milestones, or a cake-smash for your baby's first birthday, I've got you covered!
Kids
Relax! I know how stressful photo sessions can be, especially if you have little kids. It's okay! I try to keep my sessions FUN, laid-back, and as casual as possible. And I'll do just about whatever it takes to get the kids to smile, whether it's blowing bubbles or making my infamous dolphin sound. Don't worry- we'll try to get some posed shots but we will definitely get lots of real photos of kids just being kids! :)
Families
Family sessions are my FAVORITE!!! I LOVE hanging out with families and getting to see each person's unique personality. I LOVE watching how different families interact together. I LOVE when families bring their furry family members to their sessions! And most of all, I love knowing that these pictures will be shared with future generations, and that these memories will forever be frozen in time. <3
Couples
I truly love photographing couples!! It doesn't matter if they're recently engaged, been married for 10 years, or are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Each couple is unique and it is so much fun to see their love and happiness shine through during their session. I get to capture it all in photos that will hopefully be displayed around their home, as a visual reminder of how in love they are!
Maternity
Maternity sessions are some of the sweetest sessions ever. The mommas are glowing and looking beautiful. The dads are excited, yet they admit they're a bit nervous about their new arrival! I love talking to the couple and families about their new baby- the name, the nursery theme, if they have everything set up and ready to go. Maternity sessions are so special and exciting and I LOVE doing them!
Seniors
SENIORS- you're graduating soon!!!! Can you believe it?? I know you thought this day would never come but now it's almost here! Document this exciting FINAL year with a senior photo session! Bring your favorite outfits, sports equipment, instrument, class ring, cap and gown....anything you want! This session is all about YOU!
Headshots
Do you need a new headshot for work? For your modeling portfolio? Or for that dance competition coming up? Maybe you just want to get all made up and have some pretty pictures taken of yourself. Whatever the reason, headshot sessions are available!

Weddings
I truly love to photograph weddings! I love capturing memories of a wedding day from the small details to the bride and groom portraits to the fun dancing at the reception, and everything in between!

* 30 minute session
& 20-25 edited images.
Silver Package: $350
* 60 minute session
& 60-75 edited images.
Gold Package: $475
* 90 minute session
& +100 edited images.
Gas mileage fee: $0.55/mile if location is >30 miles from my home.
Groups of 10+ must book at least an hour session.
