Jake and Lauren had the SWEETEST outdoor wedding back in August! Even though we had a DOWNPOUR about 30 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, everything was still perfect. These two are so laidback and carefree- a little rain didn’t put a damper on their wedding day spirits! Lauren and Jake wanted to have a first look session (which I LOVE!) and it was absolutely beautiful! Lauren looked gorgeous and Jake obviously agreed (none of us could hold back our tears!). They also wrote their own vows to each other and had pretty much everyone crying during the ceremony. To top things off, Glencoe Mansion and Museum was the perfect venue for these two history lovers. What a gorgeous place! Jake and Lauren are such a great couple- they’ve been together for so long. They met way back in elementary school and now, years later, Jake and Lauren are MARRIED and I am so happy for them! We had a blast hanging out with them on their wedding day! Let me add that I have known Lauren and their family for as long as I can remember. I used to baby-sit her and her siblings decades ago! And Jake is such a fun, sweet guy AND his mom is Owen’s preschool teacher! I just love their family, too! Congrats, Lauren and Jake! So happy for y’all! <3
